WHAT IS NATURAL FLOOD MANAGEMENT?

As one of our many specialities, we use natural resources, like clay and timber, to hold back water to slow the flow of rain water into the surrounding towns using our specialist machines.

With this being in-line with our ecological beliefs we pride ourselves in our involvement of the Natural Flood Management Program, You can find out more about our involvement in the program in the first part of the Countryfile Episode: Helen on Crompton Moor.

Natural flood management reduces the impacts of flooding by using natural methods like planting trees, restoring peatland and creating leaky barriers/dams. You can find out more about the Natural Flood Management Program and how your community can use nature-based solutions here
